Soil: From two plots of vines in the Domaine, one located barely 100 meters from Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, and was planted in the first half of the 20th century. The second plot is from the appellation Gevrey-Chambertin, which has a rich and deep soil.

Farming practices: Biodynamics, hand-harvesting.
Vinification: Using natural yeasts, fermentation begins after several days. Except for several pigeages during the maceration process, human intervention is limited to the bare minimum. At the devatting, after fermentation, the wine is siphoned by gravity (without pumps) into oak barrels.
